Aaron Caruso was chosen by the late, 15-time grammy winner, Phil Ramone and famed Producer, Sonny Grosso, to play the lead role in a Broadway show about Mario Lanza. He was chosen by Joan Rivers as her opening act. Aaron sang twice at Carnegie Hall- both concerts were sold-out.
Mr. Caruso studied voice with Maestro Luigi Veccia from the Rome Opera House for ten years in New York city and in Rome. His current vocal coach is Mark Oswald from the Metropolitan Opera House. He has a bachelor's degree in vocal performance from the University of Michigan with a minor in Italian language. He also attended the world renowned Interlochen Arts Academy. Operatically, he has performed the lead role in Mozart’s “Bastien und Bastienne”, “La Boheme”, "The Magic Flute" for the Motor City Lyric Opera, concert performances with the Bellini Opera Foundation and scores of operatic concerts with orchestras across the United States including excerpts from Turandot, Tosca, I Pagliacci and many more.
In 2011, he was knighted by the Equestrian Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem for his contributions and service to the Catholic church. He performs regularly throughout the United States, Canada and Italy, singing in performing arts centers, concert halls and music festivals.
